In celebration of the release of Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Movie - Walpurgisnacht: Rising in Japan, two large plushies inspired by the movie's protagonists, Madoka Kaname and Homura Akemi, will be released.
Similar to the Umamusume horse plushies and the Marin Kitagawa doll, these two plushies will not only be hefty in size and weight but also in price.
As per its official store page, both Madoka and Homura stand at approximately 100 cm, or just over three feet, tall. The Madoka plush weighs around 8.2 kg (18.1 lbs), is 93 cm wide, and features the character's signature pink twin tails and red ribbons.
On the other hand, Homura is slightly smaller. Measuring around 70 cm wide and weighing 7.5 kg, the plushie is decked in a black outfit with an embroidered Soul Gem on her left hand.
Both plushies can be purchased for ¥66,000, or around Php26,000. Pre-orders are now open, and it will close on October 13 at 11:59 PM. The plushies are expected to be shipped starting in March 2027.
