Ark: Survival Evolved is an open world survival game where you will tend to your instincts and survive as you can. Stranded in an island where you face off dinosaurs, natural calamities and other players if you are in a multiplayer setting, this game will test your survival skills and instincts as you traverse in the island.
Don't worry though, there are ways to play it without dealing with pesky humans, like a single player mode, but the fun of the game includes cooperating with players especially if they can be allied with. If you worry about being alone in multiplayer, find allies to form a tribe where you can have shared dinosaurs and a base where you can be protected against dangers in the game. But if you want to have a "restored faith in humanity" moment in the game, why just try their PvE, nothing beats cooperation when no one can be hostile to your directly right? But for those who do not know, Samurai Shodown is a fighting game back in the NEOGEO and the first game was back in 1993, so it definitely has some age, but make no mistake, the game is very popular to other people. Having spawned multiple adaptations, manga, and OVAs, Samurai Shodown clearly has a following and who knows, you might be interested in it as well!
