The 2023 Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Asia Championships is set to bring the action to Shanghai, China. The LAN event will take place in Yuanshen Stadium from November 8–12, 2023. A total prize pool of $500,000 USD (roughly PHP 28,000,000) will be offered, and it will be divided among the eight participating teams based on their final standings.
The third edition of the CS2 Asia Championships, which will take place in 2023 after a four-year break, will be hosted by Perfect World and serve as the first official CS2 competition for Asia. Of the teams who are taking part, three regional teams have earned a spot through the Perfect World Arena Premier League Season 5: Professional Division, while five foreign competitors have received direct invitations to this competition.
As the current champion, MOUZ will try to maintain their lead against a few new rivals in a revised edition of the game.
The squad of MOUZ is significantly different from the one that won the championship at the 2019 CS:GO Asia Championships. It will be far more exciting because, in addition to them, practically every organization has since altered their current roster.
Since this is a CS2 competition instead of the previous CS:GO event, the game itself has changed as well, making things more difficult for everyone participating.
