A New PS5 Game to Look Forward This June - Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade may be a surprise to everyone but it is a welcomed one. Launching on June 10 for PS5, check out what details this release has.


Certain improvements have been done for this game. The lighting and textures have been improved and it makes you feel like you have been absorbed in Midgar. With elevated gameplay that runs for 60 FPS and stunning visuals, a brand new story episode has also been added together with a new character named Yuffie Kisaragi.

Here are the additional informations that you needed to know about this new release:

Graphics Mode - this will let you soak up the new visual features in 4K with HDR support.
Performance Mode - prioritizes a smooth 60 frames per second gaming experience. Combined with the DualSense PS5 controller's haptic feedback integration, this will let you immerse in the game like never before.
Photo Mode - offers a fully customizable way to capture and share your favorite moments in the game.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is an independent game for PS5. You are not required to buy the PS4 version. Although if you already bought the FFVII Remake on PS4 and have a PS5, you could download a free PS5 enhancement update(Note: PS4 version of the game available for Playstation Plus members is not eligible for the PS5 digital version upgrade).


Yuffie is a brand new playable character for this new story. She is a ninja from Wutai that sneaks her way into Midgar and devises a plan with Avalanche HQ for a mission to steal the ultimate material from Shinra Electric Power Company. This new episode will introduce you to new characters and features an expanded gameplay that has new combat additions.


There will be a save data carry over from PS4 to PS5. An update patch will become available for the PS4 version. A new menu option will appear on the title screen and that will help you with the carry over of your saved data. Just a reminder, if your PS4 version is the physical copy and you own a PS5 digital edition, you will not be eligible to download the upgrade. However, if you buy the digital version of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, you can transfer the saved data from PS4.


A physical and digital version will be available. You will have two choices for the digital versions namely, Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition. These will be available in the PlayStation Store. Digital Deluxe Edition has a digital mini soundtrack, including a song titled "Descendant of Shinobi" and a digital artbook that has various concepts and promotional art from the production.
