A Recap On PUBG Mobile 1.0 New Era Update "Beyond A.C.E" And The New Erangel

It's been more than two years since PUBG released its mobile version on Android and iOS. Now, PUBG just released a big, if not the biggest, update called Beyond A.C.E with a reworked map named New Erangel. In the update 1.0 that rolled out last September 8, they introduced a new era of the game with its new UI, overhauled Evangel map, and graphical improvements.

So, what really changed since its release? Well, let's start with one of the highlights of the update, the New Erangel. It was called Evangel 2.0 after being unveiled July last year as a reworked map of its PC counterpart. To be exact, it was like an overall improved version of the Evangel map. Different parts of the map were changed including the Mylta Power, Prison, and Warehouse.

Newly added elements such as barricades, trenches, scattered tanks, and basements under buildings were included in the update. Well, this is how they describe a "new era" for PUBG's battle royale map. If you haven't seen the tour inside the map yet, you check it out here:

As I have mentioned earlier, update 1.0 comes with a sleeker UI and more realistic graphics. And they really outdid it, especially in their refreshing user interface. Everything seems to be more organized than it was before and it's no longer confusing where the buttons are placed. To have a better idea, here are some of the screenshots provided by Tencent:

As for the overall improvement of the graphics quality, the whole environment of the battle royale maps is now more realistic. The sky, the ocean, and the increased layering of the vegetation made the PUBG's battle royale experience more immersive as you travel through every part of the map.

And, the update didn't end there! Recently, PUBG collaborated with Blackpink and Mountain Dew to create in-game surprises. From cosmetic skins and even beyond what we can expect from any in-game rewards, A SIGNED BLACKPINK ALBUM! Well, let's talk about it on another day. PUBG Mobile seems to be growing straight despite the mobile platform competition.

All the photos in here belong to Tencent and PUBG Mobile's website. If you already experienced the new update and you have some thoughts about it, you can share it down below. With that being said, see you on the battlefield soldiers!
