A Sneak Peek to the DOTA: Dragon's Blood

As to the fans delight, DOTA has come to Netflix. As the streamer announced last Tuesday a new anime series will take-off based on the popular video of the game's franchise from Valve.

It will be produced by Studio Mir with Ashley Edward Miller serving as the showrunner and executive producer, who is also the co-writer of the X-men: First Class and Thor. Studio Mir will also work with Ryu Kihyun for the animating, who also serves as a co-executive producer.

DOTA: Dragon's Blood is an 8-episode series that will premier globally on March 25th via Netflix. The series will follow the feats of Davion, the Dragon Knight, devoted to wiping off the face of the Earth, the considered bane of humanity. With encounters with the ancient, eldwurm and the noble princess, Mirana, who is on her own secret mission, Davion faces challenges that he could only imagine.

These two DOTA characters are likely to be recognized since they are both playable characters in the online game. The teaser for the series was released two days ago through Netflix's YouTube account.

Studio Mir is a South Korean anime studio based in Seoul. They are behind the American TV series The Legend of Korra, the Netflix series Voltron: Legendary Defender and many more. They also worked with films such as Big Fish & Begonia and The Death of Superman.
