Alien: Isolation Is Finally Coming To Mobile Devices This Coming December

As part of a package that would include the main game as well as each of the game's seven additional DLC packs, Sega has announced that it will bring Alien: Isolation to mobile devices "without compromise."

This was confirmed in an announcement made through press release by the publisher, who stated that the survival horror game will be released on both iOS and Android devices. Those familiar with the brand will be able to purchase the game, which is believed to have been fully optimized for touchscreen devices, starting on December 16 for $14.99 or your regional equivalent.

An announcement posted by Sega stated that "The stunning AAA visuals, arresting narrative and terrifying atmosphere of Creative Assembly’s award-winning sci-fi masterpiece have been faithfully replicated for phones and tablets. This is the complete survival horror experience brought to mobile without compromise." Additionally, as stated by the publisher, the game will have a "bespoke, totally customisable UI" that is designed specifically for touchscreen play. After all of this is said and done, Sega was quick to note out that players would be able to "fine tune the game to their own playing style," which basically translates to the notion that gamepads will also be supported.

Despite the fact that Alien: Isolation was originally published on PC in 2014, the fact that it has now been brought to mobile "without compromise" is still quite astounding. That being said, if the Switch version of the game is any indication, there's a good chance that a mobile port will be developed, with the Switch version's aesthetics in particular receiving positive reviews upon release.

Below is a brief description of Alien: Isolation.
When she left Earth, Ellen Ripley promised her daughter she would return home to celebrate her 11th birthday. She never made it.

Fifteen years later, Amanda Ripley learns that the flight recorder from her mother’s ship has been recovered. Amanda enters Sevastopol space station to finally solve the mystery of her mother’s disappearance, only to confront an unknown menace.

Engage in a terrifying quest for survival as you navigate the labyrinthine Sevastopol station. Unprepared and underequipped, you will need all your wits and daring to get out alive.
