Where and when can I watch VALORANT Challengers Thailand Stage 01 Week 01?

VALORANT Challengers Thailand playoffs will be broadcast live on Twitch, Facebook, YouTube and NimoTV with the Week 01 qualifiers taking place on 29 - 31 January. Day 3 of the qualifier will be broadcast with the pre-show starting at approximately 11.45 ICT on 31 Jan and Agent Select starting from 12:00 ICT.

The main weekend event will take place from 5 - 7 February 2020. The pre-show will start at 11:45 ICT, with Agent Select starting at 12:00 ICT on each day with the exception of Friday. The pre-show will start at 19:45 ICT, with Agent Select starting at 20:00 ICT on Friday.

Twitch has joined as a broadcast partner for VCT Challengers Stage 01. Our regional partner, ESL, will be broadcasting on Twitch, YouTube and NimoTV, and we will be broadcasting on our Facebook page.

What are the rules for players?

Players in VALORANT Challengers Thailand will be subject to all the usual game rules, as well as the specific tournament rules laid out here.

What’s the VALORANT Challengers Stage 01 Week 01 format?

VALORANT Challengers Thailand features six weeks of open qualifiers and elimination brackets. Open qualifiers for Challengers Stage 01 Week 01 take place between 29 - 31 January in Thailand, with a best-of-one match designed to whittle down the competition to the best eight teams in the region. These eight teams will go on to compete in the main event weekend on 5 -7 February in best-of-three for quarters and semi-finals, followed by a best-ofthree in the finals for a spot to compete in the next Challengers event taking place 26 - 28 February. This is a single-elimination tournament, meaning that when you lose a series, you’re out of the competition.

Who are the teams?

Some of the most prominent organisations in esports have confirmed they will be taking part in VALORANT Challengers Thailand, including: Foxy.Araikordai, Full Sense and Overtime Esports. Other notable teams confirmed to be taking part include Sharper Esports, Confirm and X10. No matter what games you watch, you're certain to see some truly talented teams and players taking part.

What maps will be played?

Available maps for qualifiers and main events will be Bind, Haven, Split, Ascent and Icebox. Maps will be chosen by teams at the start of each round.

Which agents will be used?

All agents in the latest VALORANT roster, including our newest agent Yoru, will be available for use in the entire VALORANT Challengers Thailand.

Can I join in?

Registration for the first round of VALORANT Challenger Thailand open qualifiers have already closed. Registration for the 2nd qualifier is ongoing up until 14th February and you can head over here to register.
