"Among Us" is finally coming to the VR platform this 2022

The world famous "Among Us" game that invaded the gaming and streaming community is finally coming to Virtual Reality. Offering a much more interactive gaming experience. According to Among Us' official website the game will be released something this holiday 2022.

Crewmates work together in this virtual world to complete tasks before one or more Impostors can kill everyone aboard. All of the same betrayal and deceit as the original game, but now in your own virtual Skeld.​

The new Among Us VR gameplay from Thursday's VR showcase can be seen here, courtesy of the Innersloth YouTube channel. For those of you who have already played Among Us, you'll notice that many of the same actions are repeated in this VR version of the game. The VR setup, on the other hand, provides a completely different viewpoint on the game by giving the Crewmates and Imposters flying hands with which they can perform their missions.

"Prepare for departure but beware the Impostor! Among Us VR is an online party game of teamwork and betrayal," Innersloth said. "Grab your crew and headset to plunge into the VR version of this hit multiplayer game for 4 – 10 players. Attempt to hold your spaceship together but keep an eye out as one or more random players among the crew are Impostors bent on killing everyone."​
