AP Bren revealed the heroes they want for the M5 World Championship skin

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M5 World Championship recently concluded with a grueling seven-game match where the Philippines’ AP Bren achieved victory against Indonesia’s ONIC Esports, earning them the privilege to choose the hero for the fifth M-series customized skin.

On Sunday, December 17, 2023, AP Bren won against ONIC Esports and took home the $300,000 USD cash prize plus the world championship title. On top of that, the MOONTON Games honors the yearly world champions by granting them the opportunity to have a specially customized world championship skin of their chosen hero.

The exclusive skin will be determined by player voting, and the chosen hero will feature the team’s branding.

As the thrilling grand finals concluded, the members of AP Bren were asked by the media to share which of the heroes they would likely choose to grant the M5 championship skin.

While the choices have not been decided and confirmed by Moonton yet, marksman hero Brody was one of the choices for roamer Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo, sixth man Vincent “Pandora” Unigo, gold laner Marco "Super Marco” Requitiano, and exp laner David “Flaptzy” Canon.

Brody seems to be AP Bren’s signature hero; they picked him a total of eight times throughout the M5 event, winning seven matches out of these eight.

Apart from Brody, the team’s most-picked hero, Arlott, was chosen by mid laner Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel and Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo as well. Arlott was picked by AP Bren a total of 12 times, including three times in the grand final matches.

Other heroes that were chosen by other players are Fredrinn, Claude, Faramis, and Thamuz. While the coaches, Francis “Ducky” Glindro voted for Diggie, and Vrendon "Vrendon Lin” Pesebre voted for Odette and Helcurt. But note that only one hero will receive the M5 AP Bren skin.

With the majority of votes Brody received, he is more likely to be the bearer of the next M-series championship skin. Moonton Games is expected to unveil it sooner, which fans should anticipate.
