Are Filipinos still hated playing dota?

This has been going for quite some time now, do you think pinoy dota players are still hated? considering are own rave team is doing very well in the Dota 2 scene worldwide? so base from your online experience are being criticized because we are Filipinos?

Pansin ko lang sa DOTA 2 lalo sa pub games sa SEA server pag pinoy mga nakalaro mo lahat gusto mag carry ahaha wala man lang magsusupport, walang nag smoke , walang nag waward / deward ahahaha yung mga nabanggit ko ung reason kaya pag may kalaro tayong mga foreigners naiinis sila puro carry pipiliin tapos sablay naman sa mid at late game haha

Well, dpat matuto ka muna mag support bago ka mag shift as carry role.

"DotA" has been kind of a scapegoat by older generations for young kids who couldn't focus in school because of excessive playing in computer rental shops, which is fairly common in the Philippines. It has been generalized, so they don't really mean the game DotA when they say "nagddota ka nanaman, magaral ka nga!" or something along the lines of that. Still, it's true that we have lower credibility online and also some older folk fail to see the benefits of gaming in general, not that I approve of skipping school for gaming.
