So you've heard that Riot Games are releasing another comic story huh? We know they've create a decent amount of comics in their website and you can read it because it is on digital copy but this time it's not their ordinary comic series.
Riot Games and Marvel have partnered to create a graphic novel that will be published in May 2019 but you can you read it now since yesterday, which is December 19, is the release of the digital copy.
Odin Austin Shafer will write the story in company with artist Nina Vakueva, which is a nominee for The Russ Manning Most Promising Newcomer Award, and letterer Cardinal Rae.
The comic series will be starting with the first issue of Ashe: Warmother and gonna be followed by 3 more issues. It will start of with an origin story of how Ashe deals with her mother's expectation, became the leader of her people in the world of Runeterra and initiate a quest that will change the Runeterra.
Riot Games planned to create more comics regularly next year and in 2020 they might offering for a physical copy just like any Marvel comics.
For now, they will make it free so that players and non-players who were interested can read it.
