ASUS announces a wireless gaming keyboard ROG Azoth with 2-inch OLED panel

The ROG Azoth, a first-of-its-kind 75% wireless custom gaming keyboard from ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG), has been introduced. The Azoth has a built-in 2-inch OLED monitor that can display keyboard status, Caps Lock status connection mode, and PC/Mac mode indicators. It is claimed to contain features seen only on premium DIY keyboards.

As for its build, the Azoth utilizes the ROG NX Mechanical switches with pre-lubed stems and base housings. ASUS ROG claims that this offers a smoother click feel and eliminates spring bouncing noises, with the force curves and fast-actuation design producing a great keystroke feel and consistency. The switches are hot-swappable too, which further gives the Azoth a unique and customized feel.

The keyboard has N-key rollover and full anti-ghosting . In addition, the polling rate is 1000 Hz. The connection to the PC can be done via USB, Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz. This means that we have a battery, but no figures communicated on the autonomy. On the other hand, a small 256×64 OLED screen is a good additional feature.
