We all know that the gaming industry in the Philippines has been shifting bit by bit, but maybe not completely, to mobile phones. With versatility, portability and the power it can do to multitask and be readily available is something to behold in that.
Therefore, some companies are making great strides in order to achieve mobile gaming to be feasible to handle multiple things at once. Now, let's discuss one brand that is known for gaming. ASUS ROG.
ASUS ROG is a brand you've heard a lot from their high-tech laptops and now their speedy smartphones that are indeed top-notch, albeit the high price tag. If you have one of their items, expect quality that will last for years and the speed of the gadget to be very fast and reliable.
I've always wanted one of their laptops for faster work turnouts and gaming times, but that will just wait soon. My colleague, Tribore had reported earlier that reported that the Phone 3 will be here in the Philippines soon and today it has been reported that it has arrived. Here's what we know about it.
There are 3 variants, with the Classic Version having 2 different versions while the last is a special one called "Strix Edition" as a cheaper one but has a different spec altogether.
These both have various functions that make your gaming needs interesting! Things such as GameCool3 cooling system which makes your gaming experience better as the phone won't get so hot quickly. There's also X Mode that lets you have a modified gaming experience with the phone.
Finally, there is the GameFX audio system that makes the sound of your games much more immersive than ever. There's a lot of new things other than this but these alone show how superior the phone can be. Now, let's see how they fare from each other.
ASUS ROG Phone 3 Specs
All the other specs are also making it appear like they will be ready for primetime, whether you just buy it to play games or do various stuff too, ROG Phone 3 has got you covered. This one has the price tag of P54,995. Pretty expensive but with the specs which are stated above makes the price more worth it.
However, if the price is too much for you. There's a weaker variant with a 12 GB RAM at P49,995, somewhat significantly lower but with less RAM.
ASUS ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition Specs
The Strix is basically a more affordable version of the phone, with its lesser specs, it really warrants a cheaper price for those who cannot spend a lot on their phones, but don't let that fool you for thinking that this is not a great phone.
The processor downgrade from the non-Strix is not that much and the RAM might have been halved but 8GB can go a long way still especially for smartphones. If you want the Strix Edition, you can get it for P39,995.
Verdict
While some smartphone experts would argue otherwise, these phones are amazing specs for those who are willing to go all-out in smartphone gaming, if you buy one of these, you are guaranteed to have a smooth experience with long battery life and a camera that will deliver quality shots.
I, myself only have an entry-level smartphone yet enjoying most of the games I play on it. So these phones will definitely make you happy. But that's only my take on this one, what would you think? Tell us in the comments section below!
