AYANEO Unveils their new AYANEO 2 handheld device running on Ryzen 7 6800U APU

AYA NEO announced that their new console will have RDNA2 graphics that are as powerful as the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. They have revealed the system to be on par with the most awaited Steam Deck.

The Radeon 680M RDNA 2 iGPU paired with the Ryzen 7 6800U, AMD's most powerful iGPU to date, is the Aya Neo 2's most significant upgrade. According to AMD, the Radeon 680M outperforms entry-level discrete Nvidia GPUs such as the GTX 1650 Max-Q, making it a viable option for PC gaming at resolutions up to 1080p. Furthermore, the Radeon 680M has 12 RDNA 2 CUs operating at 2,200 MHz, whereas Aerith has eight RDNA 2 CUs operating at 1.6 GHz.

This APU comes with an unknown amount of LPDDR5 6400 MHz memory and a 7" 1280800 IPS frameless display. The console will also include an integrated fingerprint sensor and has been shown running a variety of games including Metro Exodus, Cyberpunk 2077, Witcher 3, and Elden Ring.

The Ayaneo 2 is expected to be released by the end of this year, though no pricing has been announced. Others are speculating the range to be at least $1000.00 according to AYA NEO'S previous products.
