BAASH eSports Mobile COD Year End Event

CAPSL is hosting an online tournament of CALL OF DUTY MOBILE from 26th October until 12th December on BAASH. The tournament will be free to enter across Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan & Macau. Total of 8 influencers will join in and represent as the team captains of the top 8 teams.



TOURNAMENT FORMAT & DATES (1/3)

OCT 26 - Announcement of Tournament

  • BAASH available to download on all participating countries (Google Play)
  • Tournament registration begins ○ 8 open leaderboards where:
    • SG/MY/PH will have 6 leaderboards
    • HK/TW/MO will have 2 leaderboards
      • Each leaderboard will be capped at 64 teams, each team will have 5 players
      • We will potentially up the cap to 128 teams, depending on the situation
  • From our experience, we have filled 32 team tournaments within days
NOV 9-16 - Open Leaderboard Stage I
  • 8 Open leaderboards will be available, playing COD Mobile.
  • Match format will be 5v5, first to 100 kills wins (or team with more kills when time up)
  • Each winning team will gain 2 points, losing team will get 0 point
  • Top two teams with most points on each leaderboard by the end will advance to next stage

TOURNAMENT FORMAT & DATES (2/3)

NOV 23-27 - Open Leaderboard Stage II

  • Two Open leaderboard with the top 16 teams from previous stage ○ One leaderboard for SG/MY/PH
    • One leaderboard for HK/TW/MO
  • Match format remains the same: 5v5, first to 100 kills wins (or team with more kills when time up)
  • Each winning team will gain 2 points, losing team will get 0 point
  • Top teams with most points on leaderboard by the end will advance to next stage
    • Top 6 from SG/MY/PH
    • Top 2 from HK/TW/MO
  • One influencer will be assigned to each team as team captain once top 8 teams are decided

TOURNAMENT FORMAT & DATES (3/3)

DEC 12 - Brackets (Best of 3)

  • 6 teams across SG/MY/PH will play head to head against each other in first round ○ They will be matched according to their placement in previous stage
  • Team with best overall kill death ratio KD will auto advance to Finals
  • Other two teams will play head to head for 3rd place
    • Winning team will advance for finals
  • Two teams across HK/TW will play head to head as finals, there will be no third place

MARKETING - INFLUENCERS

We will invite a total of eight top influencers across GSEA and Hong Kong*, to be placed as captains of the top 8 teams. Where each influencer will be responsible to promote the tournament and have their own giveaway (if sponsored.)

STREAMS & REACH

The event will be streamed online. Selectively throughout online qualifiers & semi-finals.
  • The finals will be a full day stream with shoutcasters. Streamed in participating influencer, shoutcaster, BAASH, and Cyberport Channels ○ We are also open to have it streamed on Razer’s channels
  • The finals will also be shown on Cyberport’s DELF event sites as well on-site on December 12, 2020 ○ DELF 2019 reference: https://delf.cyberport.hk/en/index
  • Combined followers from influencers will be at least 5 million
