Bandai Namco's new RPG, Blue Protocol looks promising, possibility of Western Release?

Everytime we play an MMORPG game, we always wonder how it will immerse us in their game. Something that will bring an oomph to our body and make us hooked to it. While others have created a legacy with their work such as World of Warcraft and Phantasy Star Online, others are still trying to make a dent in the market where it is filled with a lot of competitors. But with competition comes the innovation of the companies to make their new IP the best there is, and Bandai Namco is trying to do it with their latest planned game that might interest some of you here.

The title is called, Blue Protocol and the premise of the game might be common in these games but don't let it fool you as it has more to offer than what you expect. The graphics quality and the animation are something behold on. While anime art style is not for everyone, it is something to look out for as it might offer you quality design that you expect from an anime style graphics.

The gameplay follows an action combat system with each class having 5 spells and you can attack with your left and right mouse button. These spells you have will depend on these classes: Aegis Fighter, Twin Striker, Blast Archer and Spellcaster. Seemingly familiar with the Fighter, Rogue, Archer and Mage of the other RPGs, Bandai has said that they will be planning to add more.

The hype is real but the real question is that will it get a global release? Because right now, the game is only slated for a Japanese-based release. Well, we might just be in luck as back in February 2020, they were hiring someone who can localize the game for the West, so, there you have, an imminent Western release once the localization is done.

A new PC MMORPG might be a great way to revitalize the market of this genre, the hype in this game is something else and while most of the news that are coming in the MMORPG genre are in mobile, Blue Protocol might shake things up for the betterment of PC MMORPG, but what do you think?
