Even though the TNC Pro Team lost to Omega Esports in the lower bracket finals, that didn’t stop Ben Seloe “Benthings” Maglaque in calling his girlfriend, Dayen Bello, to go on stage and propose to her in front of the live audience.
Bello was part of the audience in the SMX Convention Center, holding her mobile phone that had a sign, “Benthings, no need mag-propose, manalo lang!”
And during the lengthy technical pause of the TNC Pro Team and Omega Esports matchup, Mara Aquino went up to Bello for an interview and she shared that, “Sobrang humble talaga [ni Benthings], and sobrang bait talaga niya.”
Unfortunately, TNC Pro Team lost against Omega Esports but that didn’t dampen Benthings. Instead, he bravely called Bello on stage and finally popped the question in front of many people.
Bello immediately said yes and Benthings promptly put the ring in her finger while the crowd went wild in the background. Congratulations to the now engaged couple!
