This is a basic guide created for a previous version of the game so if you are experiencing any issues, post them here and we will try to solve them, or guide you further. I will try to do a full installation again to recheck if anything changed (should be ready before our Giveaway ends).
For those of you who want to try and skip a portion of download, another guide that uses a torrent file can be found here, but if you get any errors we will not be able to help.
Black Desert KR Client Installation Guide (Safest one)
1. Go to Black Desert official site
2. Click download game (see the picture below)
3. Choose one of the following mirror links (see the picture below)
4. You will be asked to log-in (insert username and password)
NOTE! If you do not use a KR VPN, you may be asked to provide the email account also (select the appropiate drop down item - should be the fourth option, and enter your email).
Agree with everything they throw at you (depending on their TOS there may be several agreements to be approved).
5. Begin the installation (run the BlackDesert_Setup.exe you just downloaded)
6. When finished the launcher should pop-up and you will need to update the client (several big patches will be downloaded)
7. When everything is done, go back to Daum site, click Game Start and you will be redirect to a page that looks like this:
Press the magic blue button (the big one) and download the .exe file called DaumGameStarter.
NOTE! If you are running any plugin blocker, you should disable it and Chrome may also give you several errors, so I sugest you do this step from the old Internet Explorer.
Run the recently downloaded file and Install the game starter
8. After Daum's plugin is installed, go back to the official page, click Start Game one more time, and the game will finally launch.
9. When entering the game for the first time, you will be asked to set a secondary password (create a 8 digit password, and enter it two times).
To provide the best gameplay experience for our Western audience, our friends from BlackDesertTome developed an Interactive Map as well as an English Patch. Both of them can befound on their official site, under the Tools menu.
What are the minimum PC spec requirements?

NOTE: Windows 10 is not currently supported and will BSOD upon launching the game. You will need to downgrade to Windows 7 or 8.1.
