Black Desert's Heidel Ball to Take Place in Real-life 'Heidel' in France

The renowned developer and publisher, Pearl Abyss, has announced that this year's Heidel Ball will be hosted in the medieval village of Beynac-et-Cazenac, France. Scheduled for June 22, the event promises to immerse Adventurers in the same medieval experience as that of Black Desert's prominent in-game city, Heidel.

The village of Beynac-et-Cazenac, located in the Dordogne department of southwestern France, mirrors the in-game city of Heidel. It features buildings and streets that are identical to those found in the game. Adventurers will have an opportunity to explore the site and evoke the game's atmosphere with each step.

The event will feature a variety of engaging activities, including cosplay, community gatherings, and a cocktail party. The evening's highlight will be a lavish medieval banquet held at the Castle of Beynac. Most importantly, the Black Desert team will deliver keynotes, unveiling major upcoming content updates and offering a glimpse into future plans.

Global Adventurers can join the event via the YouTube channel and take part in the scene through the live stream on June 22 at 22:00 (GMT+8).

This year's Heidel Ball has attracted considerable interest, with over 100 community members and representatives from more than 20 international media outlets in attendance. Adventurers can see for themselves the degree of resemblance between the real and the virtual worlds in this video.
