Blacklist International’s star rookie Kiel “OHEB” Soriano is currently being criticized by the Mobile Legends community after showing an inappropriate gesture during their post-match celebration against Smart Omega in seventh week of MPL PH Season 8.

After securing their win against Smart Omega with a clean sweep of 2-0, OHEB was seen doing an obscene motion at the camera, with Danerie John “Wise” Del Rosario trying to stop him. MPL PH soon after posted an official statement for this issue and also revealed what was the violation of OHEB and his penalty for his violation. MPL PH gave OHEB a two-game suspension that started on October 9 as well as a $500 fine or in Philippine peso, ₱25,000.

OHEB gave his own apology through the team’s post-match conference. The pro-player admitted his mistake and added that the team did not tolerate his action.

"Gusto ko lang po humingi ng sorry d'on sa nagawa ko. No excuses, mali po talaga ang ginawa ko. Di po ako tino-tolerate ng teammates ko. Tatanggapin ko po kung ano ang consequences sa nagawa ko. Penalty o kung ano man po. Sorry sa mga lahat ng nakakita, lahat ng nabastos. Ma-aassure ko po sa lahat na hindi ko na po ito gagawin," OHEB said.

Head coach Kristoffer Ed “BON CHAN” Ricaplaza also said that they will never tolerate any form of toxicity within the team even if OHEB is still a minor.

“We’ll never make an excuse just because he’s a minor. We already gave him a separate warning aside from the MPL PH gave,” stated Bon Chan.

"Uunahan ko na yung fans, na paumanhin sa nagawa ng bunsong anak ni Vee (Johnmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna)," Bon Chan also added in jest during their post-match conference.

Due to this circumstance, Blacklist International will start their Season 8 playoffs without their star rookie.
