Blizzard launched its newest free-to-play mobile game spin-off, Warcraft Rumble, alongside its new trailer a day earlier than the expected release, which is supposed to be during the BlizzCon. For those unfamiliar with BlizzCon, it is an annual gaming convention held by Blizzard Entertainment to promote its major franchises, including the World of Warcraft franchise, Diablo IV, Overwatch, and many more.
Warcraft Rumble is an action-packed tower-defense mixed MOBA where heroes and villains across the World of Warcraft universe are being showcased. These characters will appear as a miniaturized version of themselves and can be collected by players to fight against the bosses from the world of Azeroth. There will be a total of 65 miniatures that can be collected to form and develop multiple armies.
These armies will consist of troops, leaders, and heroes. Leaders are responsible for managing troops, while heroes will stand alone as formidable individual units. The 65 minis range into 5 various families: Alliance, Horde, Beasts, Blackrock, and Undead, with multiple leaders available in each family.
According to Blizzard, WarCraft Rumble will have the PvE (Player vs. Everyone) mode, where players can play through various maps and dungeons, the PvP (Player vs. Player) mode for multiplayer fun, and more to anticipate.
Warcraft Rumble was unveiled in 2022 with its original name, Warcraft Arclight Rumble. But later on, the developer decided to drop the “Arclight” from its name, but the gameplay remained the same. Alongside its official launch, Blizzard released a gameplay and cinematic trailer on their official YouTube channel.
WarCraft Rumble is now available for Android and iOS mobile devices via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
