After failing to compete in VCT Masters Berlin because of the issue of visa acquisition, Bren Esports VALORANT roster has left the company. Shortly after, they signed with the European esports organization, Team Secret (TS), making them the roster for Team Secret’s entry into VALORANT’s competitive play.

Team Secret has been in the esports scene since 2014. They expanded in PUBG: Mobile, R6: Siege, Wild Rift, League of Legends, and now, VALORANT. Team Secret’s VALORANT roster consists of all the former VALORANT team of Bren Esports.

The new roster of Team Secret for VALORANT has been well-known since its first appearance in VALORANT’s competitive play in August 2020. The team proved themselves to be dominant here in the Philippines back then when they’re still with Bren Esports. The team won the VALORANT First Strike event in December 2020 and continued to impress their competitors as well as the fans in VALORANT Champions Tour this year. However, they were not able to compete in VCT Masters Berlin because of visa issues.

But thankfully, the team will still have a chance to be part of the 16 teams that will be heading in VALORANT Champions. Other than the circuit points awarded to them by Riot Games, they are eligible to compete in the APAC Last Chance Qualifier. If they won in this event, they could be part of those 16 teams that will head to VALORANT Champions. APAC Last Chance Qualifier will be happening later this year.

After the departure of the team from Bren Esports, the team has released an official statement, "It has truly been a rollercoaster ride for the Bren Esports Valorant Team. From slowly dominating the local competitive scene to breaking barriers as the first PH Branded Esports Team to win a SEA Championship, the Bren Esports VALORANT team will always have a place in the history books.”

With the new esports organization handling the former Bren Esports VALORANT roster, there’s a new path laid out for Team Secret’s first ever VALORANT squad.
