Dropping this October 28, players have been looking forward to Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 2. A number of story details and characters have been released but multiplayer maps have remained unknown. However, that has changed with leaks being released about the game.
Thanks to leaker RealiityUK, several images of the multiplayer maps from either Modern Warfare 2 or Call of Duty 2024 were released. However, be advised that none of the images were confirmed to be maps of the game and shortly after the leaks were made public, RealiityUK’s account was banned.
In the leaks, a number of multiplayer maps from Modern Warfare were included such as a Grand Prix map which will allegedly have a day and night version. Also an oilfield, a museum, a town square, and an ‘Esports Gym’.
Until there’s an official confirmation or announcement from Infinity Ward, Treyarch, or Activision, it’s best to take these leaks with a grain of salt since the leaks were shortly removed and the account was banned after being active for only a few hours.
