Call Of Duty: Vanguard Is Slated To Arrive On PlayStation, Xbox, and PC This November

Last Friday, publisher Activision and developer Sledgehammer Games revealed that Call of Duty: Vanguard will officially launch on November 5, 2021 after months of data leaks regarding the upcoming title.

Along with the announcement of the game's launch date, a new reveal trailer video was released. Call of Duty: Vanguard will be available on for the PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox One S, and PC, with pre-orders currently being accepted for all of the platforms. It will also grant players early access to the game's open beta, which will be held on PlayStation consoles initially before being released on other platforms. The “Night Raid Mastercraft” weapon for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone is also included with digital pre-orders, and it will be available immediately after purchase.

Call of Duty will return to World War II for a second time. As for the game itself, developer Sledgehammer Games intends to create a narrative-driven experience that will follow a fictional special-ops unit that includes personnel from all of the Allied Nations. Additionally, there will be a new multiplayer mode as well as a new Zombies mode from Treyarch.

Warzone fans will also get a huge surprise as the battle royale game will be receiving a new map from Raven Studios and an anti-cheat system implemented across all of its versions. More details about Raven Software's new anti-cheat system will be given “in the coming weeks prior to Vanguard’s launch,” publisher Activision said. This will help the game recover most of its big content creators who have shown disinterest in playing Warzone due to the increasing number of hackers and cheaters present within the game ever since it launched in March 2020.

“Call of Duty: Vanguard is primed to deliver a stunning range of gameplay experiences for the entire Call of Duty community. Vanguard‘s breadth of content is a hallmark of the title, with more multiplayer maps on day one than ever before and the first Zombies crossover in Call of Duty history. Warzone fans will also experience a host of exciting new things to come as part of the new launch. We can’t wait to share more soon,” Call of Duty series General Manager Johanna Faries said in a press release.
