Best of all, this season comes with two big announcements: the partnership with the platform Tournament Kings and the first official Community World Cup tournament with a starting prize pool of $1,000 USD. The tournament will feature a unique and innovative game mode called Squad Clash. This mode allows two teams of 4 players to compete with shared resources, bringing co-op to a whole new level! The final from August 22 to 23 also has an original format, to ensure equality in terms of time zones, the first part of the final will take place in the morning in Asia and the evening in America and the second part of the final will take place in the evening in Asia and the morning in America.
The tournament is open to teams from all over the world. Registrations will take place via the application posted on the official Chess Rush Facebook account. 32 teams will be selected depending on the team's affiliated guild world rank and the results on local tournaments and events. Several Filipino guilds are well placed to qualify and represent the Philippines: Divine Axe, Nameless, INFINITY-PH and UNITED-PH.
