Choosing Weapons in CryptoBlades

In choosing a weapon, the higher the rarity of the weapon you have chosen, the higher the SKILL payout. Because of the formula adjusting based on your chosen weapon and character, the expected win rate should not fluctuate even if a higher rarity weapon is used and even if you face a higher powered enemy.

It is recommended to find first a good 4-star or 5-star weapon to start with, of course, that depends on your budget, and after that, build a team that can wield the weapon. Although, you can buy characters first and find a weapon that fits the element of the team.

Due to the Trait Bonus in the combat formula, it’s highly suggested to use a weapon that has the same elements as the character that will use it. Because if the character uses the weapon that has the same elements as the wielder, it will give a bonus equivalent to choosing an enemy that you have a upper hand on.

In choosing a weapon, aside from the elements, the other main deciding factor in choosing a weapon is its attributes. Since the best scenario is to get a weapon that matches the elements and attributes of the character, all attributes should have high numerical values, it could be quite expensive in the marketplace since it is valued highly. If a player is operating on a budget, some adjustments need to be made regarding weapon choice.

It is recommended to choose a weapon that has high numerical stats regardless of elemental matching. A weapon that has high numerical stat total will result in a higher SKILL payout per fight and if a player has unmatched stats its impact on the win rate can be less severe if the player makes the best choices in combat.

Different rarities of weapons have different minimum and maximum attribute value totals. The minimum and maximum total attributes for weapons above 3-star are listed below:
  • 3-star : 280 - 400
  • 4-star : 400 - 800
  • 5-star : 804 - 1200
Players can also use the percentage as their deciding factor if they want to consider the win rate. Because choosing the higher percentage can lead to a weapon that has a high SKILL payout and high win rate.

Similar to the numerical values, percentages also have different minimums and maximums. The values for total percentages of 3-star weapons and above are listed below:
  • 3-star : 70% - 107%
  • 4-star : 100% - 214%
  • 5-star : 201% - 321%
In conclusion, always use a weapon that has the same elements as the character, choose a weapon that has high numerical stats for maximum SKILL payout, and match the attribute of the weapon with the character to increase win rate.
