The 90’s ‘OG’ "Crash Bandicoot" will not be bound by a gaming console anymore.
After months of review and pre-releases by the famous creator of Candy Crush Saga, its developers, finally, will debut "Crash Bandicoot: On the Run" globally on the App and Play Store as a mobile game in March.
“Drawing inspiration from Crash’s vibrant history we plan to bring back classic characters, bosses, enemies, and lands and wrap them in a brand new adventure for gamers to play on the go,” said Stephen Jarrett, vice president of Game Design at King, and creative lead on the mobile game.
In Crash Bandicoot: On The Run!, video game fans will immediately recognize regions from previous bandicoot games, such as Temple Ruins, Turtle Woods, and Bear It.
The game will be a runner game, similar to the Temple Run and Subway Surfer, where players can swipe left or right on the screen to move their character to collect coins or avoid bottomless pits.
The game is uniquely different in the way that it plays out level by level and there will be an option to craft some weapons, throwing projectiles at enemies, and doing some light platforming by letting your bandicoot jump up to higher stages.
This new game also revealed that players can be able to play with their friends somehow.
