DEMIS RE:BORN details and trailer revealed at G-Star 2023

As G-Star 2023 has finally started, publisher Netmarble and developer Netmarble F&C have finally revealed new information, footage, and screenshots for their upcoming collection RPG DEMIS RE:BORN. The event is still ongoing and it will continue until the 19th of November. It currently takes place at Busan Exhibition and Convention Center in South Korea.

DEMIS RE:BORN is a collective RPG based on Netmarble’s own IP Grand Cross universe.

In the game, players take on the role of Connectors endowed with unique abilities who encounter Transcendents that have entered through the Grand Cross phenomenon that connects various dimensions. Together, they embark on missions that unveil a captivating storyline. DEMIS RE:BORN will immerse players with beautifully crafted Transcendents within its own unique narrative complete with gorgeous 3D graphics that strengthen the overall gaming experience.

Story Mode

Story Mode showcases the journey of Transcendents and Connectors who are mythological or historical heroes reinterpreted with a modern narrative.

The “never-before-seen” story of DEMIS RE:BORN will be revealed: A journey of Connectors and Transcendents retrieve the “OOPARTS” (out-of-place artifacts) that bring chaos to the world.

In DEMIS RE:BORN, Connectors (players) accompany various Transcendents on missions and experience visual storytelling that feels like watching a high-quality anime movie.

The Transcendents are mythological or historical heroes reinterpreted with a modern narrative unique to DEMIS RE:BORN, and each have their own unique background story and settings. Through Netmarble F&C’s strength of creating unique anime-style renderings, each character’s distinguished charms shine through with various movements and delicate emotional expressions depending on different situations.

At G-STAR 2023, 14 unique characters, including the main characters Odin, Selene, and Orphne will be revealed. Odin is the supreme “King of the Gods,” and despite his cute appearance, he is full of confidence. Selene, the noble moon goddess and “lord of the cold moonlight,” has a hard heart, while Orphne, the “Malicious Maid,” is elegant and powerful. In the G-Star build, players will be able to see detailed character profiles and voices, and also have the opportunity to vote for their favorites.

Note, while in Story Mode, the story of the game unfolds like an animated movie.

Customizable Battles for Intense Enjoyment

Players can enjoy intense battles and exciting gameplay by strategically deploying themselves into fights and using skills to target key enemies at the right moment. Collect various Transcendents to build decks to suit your fighting style.

Note, aside from the Transcendents having a distinguished personality, they also each have ultimate skills that players can use when in intense battles. Use the ultimate skill to wipe out enemies.

Worlds Offer Players the Joy of Collecting Through Puzzles, Events, and More

One of the main features of DEMIS RE:BORN is the World, which offers various collecting elements, events, and puzzles. Players can enter scenarios while controlling Connectors in the world. With the Transcendents’ help, players will retrieve the OOPARTS (Out-of-place artifacts) that threaten humanity and uncover the secrets behind the ‘Grand Cross’ phenomenon.

In the G-Star demo build, players can collect objects on the world map to complete puzzles and battles to earn G-tar Coins for various prizes.

Note, SD characters can be controlled in the World. Move in the World and collect features, various puzzles, events, and more. Time and weather are background effects that can change as the story progresses, which adds to the immersive experience of the game. In addition to that, players can also interact with NPCs and enter the Story Mode through the headquarters of the game, which is the ‘Channel Exceed’ building. DEMIS RE:BORN is currently in development for PC, iOS, and Android. As of the moment, the developers have yet to reveal a launch date for the game. Stay tuned for more details!
