In an epic all-new story that takes place in between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III, they will team up with both new and established Diablo characters, including the franchise's patriarch Deckard Cain, on a vast quest to track down the fragments of the corrupted Worldstone before the forces of the Burning Hells can gather them for their own sinister plans.
A brand-new MMOARPG (massively multiplayer online action-RPG) social experience can be found in Diablo Immortal. As they explore Sanctuary, establish Warbands with up to eight members to take on group challenges like the difficult Helliquary raid bosses, and join Clans with up to 150 pals to gain difficult Clan Achievements, players will share a vast world with others.
There is a robust faction-based PvP system in the game as well. Players can join forces to fight in a continuous conflict under the leadership of the person who has earned the Eternal Crown through the Cycle of Strife. This forces them to constantly defend their throne across a variety of game styles, including violent 1v30 brawls.
Battle Pass: Knights Penitent
Like previous Seasons, the Battle Pass for Season 13 of Diablo Immortal hosts 40 ranks worth of challenges and rewards, such as Legendary Gems, Crests, Hilts, and more.
Once again, Blizzard is offering two paid versions – but both are optional. Players can upgrade their Battle Pass for the full duration of the season to the Empowered Battle Pass, or the more expensive Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass.
The Empowered Battle Pass includes all rank rewards from the free Battle Pass but purchasing it also gives players access to an Empowered track. This gives users an extra reward per rank. Those who upgrade will also gain access to seasonal cosmetics. Some will unlock at rank one while the rest will become available at rank 40.
The Collector’s Empowered version of the Season 13 Battle Pass gives you access to everything above but also offers a ten-rank boost to those who upgrade – making progression easier.
There will be server maintenance starting on May 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., much like with previous content updates. PDT on May 10 between one and three in the morning for servers in Oceania, China, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe. PDT for all American servers. All of the items listed below will be live after the maintenance is finished; dates for any additional content going live are listed below.
The Helliquary Gauntlet, a new boss rush mode for Season 13, will award a special avatar frame to the 10 players who complete all bosses the fastest each week, but only for a limited time. The athletes who are able to hold onto their spot in the top ten during the course of the season will be able to keep that frame.
More balance changes, including ones to the Accursed Towers mode, will also be included in the update. Finally, the Fractured Plane mode is returning and will allow users to fully explore that material.
