When In Manila (via The Daily Dot) published an image of the decree by the district council of Salawag, a community of about 60,000 within the larger city of Dasamariñas, just outside Manila. This morning, GMA News, a major news network in the country, ran the following report confirming the municipal ban.

The Daily Dot quotes a local saying that youths playing Dota 2 in public cafés have been involved in some rather notorious brawls that have caught public attention. Salawag's government evidently has said enough is enough.
