For Dota 2, Blacklist International’s Dota 2 team Blacklist Rivalry will be the ones that will fly to Saudi Arabia to represent our country. The roster consists of John Anthony "Natsumi" Vargas, Abed "Abed" Yusop, Kim Villafuerte "Gabbi" Santos, Timothy "TIMS" Randrup, and Jaunuel "Jaunuel" Arcilla. It was after Blacklist Rivalry defeated Talon Esports in a three-game finale that gave them the spot for the Esports World Cup.

In Game 1, Talon Esports got the win as they have nullified at the right time, using the Phoenix counterattack led by Tri "Jhocam Kuncoro, the Disruptor and Naga Siren combo of Rivalry. It also helped that they secured the key pickoffs on Natsumi's Naga Siren.

However, Rivalry was not discouraged. In Game 2, they successfully took over the match with their Disruptor, Grimstroke, and Mars combo. Add to that, Abed’s Shadow Fiend masterclass greatly helped the team in securing this win, especially because of Abed’s 41st minute double Requiem destruction.

And the final game finally commenced, where Rivalry led most of the clashes, with Gabbi’s Centaur Warrunner and Abed with his Pangolier. Add to that, Natsumi's Troll Warlord has also not left much room for Talon to struggle, which eventually resulted in securing the final win that gave them the ticket to Riyadh.

However, his grind does not stop there as he still need to play hard and smart to the lower bracket.
