Dota 2 Troubleshooting for Performance Issues or Crashes

For pinoy gamers encountering performance issues, game crashes, kindly post your questions here so our community can help, before posting problems kindly make sure your clients are up to date. If you are experiencing problem problems this might be an ISP problem.

Reacquiring all Dota 2 files for corrupt data files

For Windows computers:

1. Exit Steam entirely.
2. Browse to your Steam installation (Usually C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\)
3. Rename the "steamapps" folder to "old_steamapps"
4. Re-launch Steam and re-install the game.
5. Once the installation is complete, test the issue.
6. If this resolves the issue, you may copy the new files into the "old_steamapps" folder and rename it to "steamapps" to restore your other games without re-downloading.
7. If the issue is not resolved, you can rename the folder back to avoid having to re-install other games.

try this step

1st close all dota2 and steam
2nd right click steam icon then click properties~
3rd u will see "target"at there writing >"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" right?
4th add space and "-tcp" example like this>"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" -tcp
5th then click aply then ok,reopen the steam then launch dota 2
