Publisher Square Enix and developer DeNA revealed a release date for its action RPG title Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero’s Bonds in early September. As of September 28, 2021, the game has been available for download on both Android and iOS devices.
Dragon Quest The Adventure Of Dai: A Hero's Bond is a new team action role-playing game which is based on the timeless manga masterpiece and critically acclaimed animated series, Dragon Quest The Adventure Of Dai. It was originally scheduled for a Japanese release only. However, the game's developer and publisher announced that it will be releasing an English version as well, and is now out and available for download. The game contains two different stories, with 'Dragon Tracks' containing the story from the original Adventure of Dai series and 'Bonding Journey' containing a new story written under the guidance of Riku Sanjo, the original author, as the first. As of now, the game is offering the following:
- Avan and Hyunckel, Two Powerful Characters, Are Available: Different in-game events allow players to add these characters to their squads.
- Players can link up with Avan in his Dermline Island attire in the quest "The Hero Tutor Returns!" from the day of launch until 5:59 AM UTC on November 27, 2021.
- From 6:00 AM UTC on September 30, 2021 through 5:59 AM UTC on October 13, 2021, players can partner up with Hyunckel (Disciple of Avan) in the “Action is Virtue: The Solitary Swordsman” event. The 4-star Dark Armour Blade, which allows players to unleash the Bloody Scryde special move, will also be accessible in the Action is Virtue: The Solitary Swordsman Treasure Hunt.
- Launch Celebration Treasure Hunt: The Launch Celebration Treasure Hunt, which runs from the day of launch until 5:59 AM UTC on October 14, 2021, will allow players to obtain equipment for the Avan Strash special move.
- Pre-registration Rewards: To commemorate the achievement of 1.5 million pre-registrations, all players will receive 3,000 gems which will be enough for ten usage of the Treasure Hunt. Treasure Hunts can be utilized to obtain weapons and amour using gems and other commodities. Some weapons come with talents or special moves that can be learned in conjunction with them. Stamina can also be replenished with gems. All players will also receive a 3,000 gem Pre-Registration Thank You present, allowing them to earn up to 6,000 gems, which is enough for 20 Treasure Hunt uses, simply by logging in. These prizes are available from now until 2:59 PM UTC on October 31, 2021, and must be claimed within 30 days of checking in to the game.
- Daily Login Bonuses: Players who log in everyday on seven separate days from now until 7:00 PM UTC on October 14, 2021 can receive up to 3,000 gems to commemorate the game's launch.
