Jayvee "DubsteP" Paguirigan, a fan favorite and one of the top duelists in the Pacific, intimated on his official Twitter account that he would leave the squad. The restricted free agent wrote on Twitter, "Team Secret has given me permission to explore (trade or transfer) opportunities for the 2024 VCT season as a restricted free agent. Please contact [email protected] for all relevant enquiries. Willing to play any role needed."

He wasn't the only player, either, as Lionel Lim "lenne" You Xiang of Singapore also tweeted the same thing.

Head coach Evan "Warbirds" Olzem defended his two players, complimenting their hard ethic and the contributions they made to the team, while these two Secret members blogged about their status with the club. DubsteP received great marks from Warbirds, who said of him: "Hard vouch. Great player, amazing personality, willing to sacrifice for the team. Can play any position or role. Definitely a 'heart and soul of the team."

Other squad members including Adrian "invy" Reyes and Jessie Cristy "JessieVash" Cuyco also offered their support to DubsteP.
