ESL One heads to Southeast Asia for the first ever premium Dota 2 tournament in Manila on April 23rd and 24th 2016!

Tournament Details:
ESL One Manila will be an 8 team single elimination tournament featuring the best Dota 2 teams from around the world. The event will feature one team from Europe, one team from the United States, one team from the Philippines, two Southeast Asian teams, and one Chinese team. In addition two teams will be invited directly to the event based on past performance.
Qualification
Online qualifiers and team invitations will be announced at a later date, stay tuned to the ESL One Manila website for more information.
The Game
Dota 2 is a competitive game of action and strategy, played both professionally and casually by millions of passionate fans worldwide. Players pick from a pool of over a hundred heroes, forming two teams of five players. Radiant heroes then battle their Dire counterparts to control a gorgeous fantasy landscape, waging campaigns of cunning, stealth, and outright warfare.
Prize Pool
ESL One Manila by PLDT & GameX’s $250,000 prize pool marks a prize money milestone of US$750,000 in relation to ESL’s promise to pledge one million dollars in Dota 2 prize money over a twelve month period. The ESL One tournament series has taken Dota 2 to iconic locations such as the 2006 football World Cup stadium in Frankfurt, Commerzbank-Arena, and the famed Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York.
