Fate/Grand Order mobile gacha game reaches all-new earning milestone of over 1 Trillion Yen

A brand-new financial milestone was attained for Fate/Grand Order. By the middle of August 2023, according to SensorTower, the mobile gacha game had generated $7 billion in revenue globally. On September 8, 2023, the figure was converted by Japanese outlets at a rate of around 147 yen. They came to the conclusion that Fate/Grand Order's overall revenue had topped 1 trillion yen.

The 8th anniversary of the Japanese server was a significant factor in the achievement. On July 30, 2023, SensorTower observed that Fate/Grand Order had the top spot in the country's iPhone App Store's daily revenue ranking at the time the event began. Additionally, it was able to maintain a top-10 rating through August 15, 2023. Fate/Grand Order also saw a revenue growth rate of about $40 million throughout this time. That was around three times what Bandai Namco's One Piece: Treasure Cruise, which only made around $13 million, could bring in.

SensorTower also determined that 81.1% of the global income share from the official App Store and Google Play Store came from Japan over the course of the game's existence since its inception in 2015. The United States placed in third with 5.8%, closely followed by China in second with 8.1%.

The cut-off date chosen by SensorTower for its revenue computation was August 15, 2023. On August 11, 2023, the Summer 2023 gacha banner, which starred Artoria Caster, became live. That indicates that this banner did help Fate/Grand Order surpass the $7 billion / $1 trillion milestone.

Fate/Grand Order is available for download on Google Play Store for Android and App Store for iOS devices.
