Changes are now live on the Overwatch PTR for Sombra, Mei, and Doomfist
According to Overwatch lead designer Jeff Kaplan, This hero changes is an effort to buff their skills and make them more viable
Here are the PTR updates
Mei has been buffed with her freeze duration going from 1 second to 1.5, and a few extra shots have been added to her secondary icicle fire.
Doomfist's ammo recovery to his hand canon has also increased.
Sombra receives some of the biggest changes with her ultimate no longer charging through use of her hacked health packs. Instead, her weapon damage will now be responsible for charging her EMP so changes have been made to her gun to help with this.
With this Sombra changes It will now also take less time to hack an enemy hero and may stop more abilities than it did previously
Lastly, her translocator ability will take longer to expire, giving players more of an opportunity to get out of sticky situations.
Kaplan also mentioned that the team is...
WEEKLY GAMING UPDATAE
Earlier this week PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds developer PUBG Corp. deployed the game’s latest anti-cheat patch
The patch is the largest and most aggressive measure the company has taken so far to combat the game’s cheating problem
According to a post made by the company’s community manager on the PUBG forums
the new anti-cheat system will search the game’s files to detect if there are third-party programs running that might affect or interact with Battlegrounds
and prevents the game from being played if such programs are found
hopefully, address most popular forms of cheating software
The patch will also affect other programs like ReShade that could be seen as giving some players a competitive advantage in the game
The developer emphasizes that players who use ReShade won’t be banned, but that they can’t play PUBG if it’s installed under the new system
So for players using reshade you will be able to play only if you uninstall the program

Its no surprise PUBG is a hit phenomenon breaking steam charts and consistent high viewership from twitch streamers, however the game is not perfect not by a long shot even after its official release. The game is infested Chinese hackers, bugs, and poor optimization in comparison with its free counterpart Fornite which is by far smoother compared to PUBG though it lacks the appeal of realism to which players are mostly hooked.
So during an EA earnings call Andrew Wilson, EA's CEO praised PUBG for offering something new in the FPS genre if you discount all other games PUBG ripped of to begin with. He also stated that Battle Royale experiences are what the global FPS community wants and that EA's Battlefield teams are looking at ways to innovate the core gameplay along with the map design, so this hints that EA might in the future add this mode on its games.
If EA develops a mode or a new game it will probably be on the Battlefield franchise, so what can we expect? here are some of...

Soul Calibur 6, announced in December at the Game Awards 2017, has been given a 2018 release date. Given this was the first time the game was seen we’d guess that an early 2018 release is out of the question. We’ll bring you more details on the Soul Calibur 6 release date as Bandai Namco homes in on a more specific date.
Soul Calibur 6 is built using the Unreal Engine 4 and can be seen in action in the brief reveal trailer just below. As you can see, it looks very much like Soul Calibur, but it’s hard to get much from such a short video clip.
It’s still early days with the Soul Calibur 6 reveals, so we currently don’t know many of the characters confirmed to be in the game. The characters shown off so far are listed for you below,
Sophitia Alexandra - Sophita has appeared in some form in all the Soul Calibur games as well as Soul Edge.
Mitsurugi - Mitsurugi is another Soul Calibur veteran, having appeared in all the games and Soul Edge.

Warface has announced a new mode named Battle Royale which has been added to the popular military online game announced by publisher Global Games and powered by CryEngine, this major update also sees new weapons, new camos, and a new rank. Also included in the update is a brand new PvP map created especially for the Battle Royale mode and marks Warface’s largest playable map since the game’s launch. No doubt, the immense global success of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has a huge influence over this new mode.
In Battle Royale, a player faces off against fifteen opponents, evading the rapidly increasing death zone and eliminating each other until one victor rises out of the fierce free-for-all combat. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has had one and only one map since it launched earlier this year. But it won't always be like that, since developer Bluehole is working on a couple of new maps for the game. We know the most about an upcoming desert locale, and it seems like players are not that far off from getting to play it.
Now, hardware manufacturer Nvidia has released five new images of the map that give an idea of what's in store. Compared to the current map, the desert location looks desolate, open, and more flat, filled with ruins and low-lying buildings.
There's still no word on when, exactly, the new map will arrive, but it'll likely be after PUBG officially launches on PC in late December. PUBG is also slated to be released on Xbox One in Early Access on December 12.
Some of the 1.0 update's main features, such as vaulting and climbing, are currently available for testing on PUBG's test server.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds developer Bluehole has a lot more up its sleeve than just battle royale games. The studio's latest project is a massive departure from PUBG in both tone and genre. Bluehole has combined elements of both steampunk and high fantasy to create a new MMORPG called Ascent: Infinite Realm.
Published by Kakao Games, Ascent: Infinite Realm (“AIR” for short) will feature "Realm vs. Realm" aerial and ground combat, which divides players into preset realms and allows them to go to battle with each other for control of in-game assets. This kind of combat, rooted in controlling more resources than the enemy, channels a similar competitive nature to PUBG, which is likely one of the things Bluehole is banking on.

Aion Tempest is another one of NCSoft's upcoming game that was presented at the Press Conference earlier today. It's a new prequel Mobile MMORPG that takes place 900 years before the latest Asmodian and Elyos war. The game will feature real-time large scale battles, exciting combat, cinematic gameplay, and more. I might try it out just to relive that old school Aion memories.
NCsoft has just confirmed the name of its upcoming mobile MMORPG, Aion Tempest, which was previously known as Aion Legends. As you may have noticed from the name, Aion Tempest is developed based on the Aion IP, one of the better-known games of its time during the PC MMORPG boom.
The developer has revealed that the small legion battles in Aion Tempest will eventually escalate to large-scale legion wars, all of which are not created by the system but rather but rather caused by the players through alliances and conflicts.

First Injustice 2 gets the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and now Tekken 7 is getting Final Fantasy XV’s Prince Charming. Noctis Lucis Caelum joins the King of Iron Fist Tournament this spring. Judging by the announcement video, which debuted at the Tekken World Tour Finals earlier today, not only are we getting Noctis, but some familiar faces will be popping up on his own special Hammerhead Garage stage.
The crossover-verse collapses further upon itself with every passing day. This time it’s magic prince lad Noctis from Final Fantasy XV who falls victim to the fathomless gash in the fabric of our collective realities. In spring next year he will wake up to find himself in Tekken 7, where he must compete in the Iron Fist Tournament. Super.
The DLC with Noctis is due out in Spring 2018. We still haven’t got Final Fantasy XV for the PC yet, but we do know it’s also due early next year and that it will have mod support.
