Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis will compress the original game, along with the other titles from the Final Fantasy VII extended universe, for mobile devices. Add to that, players will also have the chance to play Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII on their mobile devices as well.

Not only that, Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII will get its first-ever official English localization. This is meant to be a collection of the games mentioned. According to Final Fantasy VII Remake director Tetsuya Nomura, Ever Crisis will "connect the events" of every Final Fantasy VII game.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis will feature “free-to-play” story chapters as well as gacha elements that dictate weapon drops, with each weapon having unique properties. Also, it seems that there are plans to distribute costumes through this system.
