Myca “Yshin” Pascual, member of a now disbanded Nexplay all-female team for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, posted her rant on Facebook regarding Nexplay’s mismanagement of the team, her rant was supported with screenshots of chat messages from people that’s part of Nexplay’s management. She began her post with a warning for the future players and talent of Nexplay EVOS.

The female team understood that they wouldn't get a salary for three months and would be under probation, despite that, they all still decided to attend the boot camp for the opportunity to practice.

“First of all, PUMUNTA kami sa BC para magpalakas at mag practice mag bigay championship eto ang sabi nila samin kaya nag BC.”

The first issue that Yshin disclosed to the public was when the management ordered the whole team to go to the boot camp. Yshin, who is 17 years old, and other players of the female team who are also underaged were rushed by the management to go to the boot camp, however, the management, who’s aware that the players are minors, didn't even ask the parents for their formal consent. The management also did not provide the fare of the players. When they arrived, a swab test was also not provided for them.

“So eto na, Nirurush kami pumunta sa bootcamp ni hindi man lang kami pinag swab or rapid test. Lalo sa malayong lugar pa kami nakatira at iba't ibang lugar. Dun palang may mali na.”

The players have been at the boot camp since July and they’re still not vaccinated despite management telling them that they are already processing their vaccination.

Yshin also shared the team’s poor condition at the boot camp. One of the main points is the quality of the food served to them. The quality deteriorated when their cook asked for a raise but instead was redelegated as a cleaner. This led to the team to use their own money to order food with no reimbursements since they were fed a consistent unhealthy diet of pork and chicken that made some of the players experience a stomachache.

“Totoo pong mala DOG FOOD na pagkain namin dahil yung iba sumusuka na at sumasakit tyan… Okay lang sa kanila MAGKASAKIT PLAYERS SA PAGKAIN BASTA MAKATIPID.”

A photo of the team sleeping was also shared. She wrote that the team is sleeping on thin foam mattresses and that they needed to put cardboard underneath it to protect their bodies from the cold since they are sleeping on the floor. This led them to develop back pain. Moreover, because of the lack of a mattress, four people had to share three mattresses on the floor.

During one of Dogie’s livestream, the girls were seen entering the boy’s unit where they were accused of having been drinking. Yshin addressed the allegations and said that they were given orders to enter the boy’s room to carry boxes of Doritos out. Their manager also encouraged them to go to the boy’s unit to grab food.

Yshin also cleared the issue regarding the partying at the boot camp and said that the TikTok videos shared online were from one of the player’s birthday celebrations where they were treated to samgyupsal.

Yshin also included that Nexplay gives different treatment for their female and male team. She said that the male team were given the priority on the food selection that led to them using their money earned from their venture in play-to-earn gaming which the organization took issue on.

As the team thought that they would only focus on training themselves, they were given extra responsibilities like doing household chores which the management should have covered.

First of all, PUMUNTA kami sa BC para magpalakas at mag practice mag bigay championship eto ang sabi nila samin kaya nag BC.

When one of the Wild Rift female team members stood up for them, the manager told her off saying that she shouldn’t defend them and sarcastically asked if she’s a superhero.

“huwag mo pagtangol ano ka super hero?”

Yshin added that the management thriftiness with them is also a problem since they only ask for the betterment of the players.

“Dami namin hinihingi na MAPA NG ML,” she wrote.

Regarding the circumstances that led to the team disbanding, Yshin clarified that Nexplay’s reason for the team disbanding was false. She recounted all the events before the disbandment.

Things became rocky when on September 9, the team manager canceled their scrimmages and tournament.

“Tapos DALAWANG TOURNAMENT palang sinalihan namin at nakahanap ng butas na idisband kasi DAW di na daw nag progress yung team EH SA DALAWANG TOURNA namin yung isa 1st place kami at sobrang bago palang namin,” she wrote. Dahil disband daw kami KASI GUSTO DAW NAMIN LUMIPAT NG IBANG TEAM NA WHICH IS DI NAMAN NATULOY.”

Then on September 10, the team disbanded with a reason that the team lacks progress which is already an old issue and has long been moved past.

Yshin concluded her post saying that the team demands Nexplay’s statement that will clear the allegations against them and also reimbursements from all the costs the players have spent and also their fare to go home.

SANA ALL MADAMI SPONSOR PERO KURIPOT.”

Nexplay EVOS has officially released a public statement in regards to all the issues the former member of a now disbanded Nexplay all-female MLBB team Myca “Yshin” Pascual has shared to the public.

Yshin’s post may now have been deleted or made so that only a private audience could access the post. Let’s all just hope that this incident will be resolved fair and just. Let’s also hope that this issue should never occur again to any future talent or players of Nexplay EVOS.
