This is a tutorial on how to fix the common problem that players are encountering especially those who have old PCs. You can get this error when installing the Save the world or the Battle Royale.

As of now, Fortnite does not support 32 bit operating systems so if you have 32-bit os, you should upgrade it to 64 bit to be able to play the game.

Even if you have the latest version of Windows 7, 8, or 10 if it is 32 bit you still can't run Fortnite. You should install a new OS that is in 64 bit.

I've been trying to solve this problem for so long and I finally found the fix. I've been using x264 encoder in OBS and because it is the CPU that is being used I can't really record and stream with high quality. If I use the other encoder NVENC H.264 which is the GPU my game is always crashing, the game I'm streaming by the way is Fortnite.

I've tried changing many settings in OBS like trying different bitrate but nothing worked. Finally I found out that turning off Nvidia Shadowplay fixes the issue. Nvidia Shadowplay is a Nvidia Graphics card feature wherein you can save highlights on your game like kills and wins.

I don't know if this works with other games that are crashing when streaming with OBS but for Fornite Battle Royale it worked like a magic for me.
