Free Fire MCP Majors S2 sees two Philippine teams take top spots to qualify for the Grand Finals

Philippine teams, PXG Radicals and Supreme Assault Force, have emerged victorious as the top teams after a six-week long battle for honour at the League stage of the Free Fire MCP (Malaysia, Cambodia, the Philippines) Majors S2. PXG Radicals emerged first among the teams, with Supreme Assault Force taking the first runner-up spot, followed by Malaysian team Tactical Intex in third place. The top 12 teams from the League stage will compete at the Grand Finals this October 16 for a slice of the US$50,000 prize pool.

Philippines teams PXG Radicals and Supreme Assault Force made local history

Organised by Garena to showcase the best Free Fire talent from the region, PXG Radicals and Supreme Assault Force made local history. For the first time ever, two Philippine teams have topped in rankings and clinched the first two spots in the Free Fire MCP League Stage. The top four teams from the Grand Finals will qualify for the Free Fire Asia Championship 2021 happening in November.

Both PXG Radical and Supreme Assault Force talked about their experience leading up to the League Stage of the Free Fire MCP, and what it was like to compete against another Philippines-based team. "They're really good," 'Insanity' Paul Brent Tolentino, from PXG Radicals, said in an earlier interview and commented that it would be an achievement to defeat them (Supreme Assault Force).

Pro team player 'Forbids' Kenneth R. Gaviño, a member of Supreme Assault Force, noted that the team's success thus far had been their goal all along, "We're very happy we did it because that's our dream!".
