Garena has announced that it will host Free Fire Clash Squad SEA Cup (FF CS Cup) next month, a new tournament featuring four teams each from the regions of Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and MCPS1.

Between Jul 7 to 16, these 16 teams will compete across six match days for a share of the $50,000 prize pool. Fans can anticipate a different kind of Free Fire esports action following the Free Fire SEA Invitational that wrapped up just last weekend, and witness their favourite teams gear up and battle in the game’s very first multiregional professional CS Mode tournament.

Tournament Format

FF CS Cup will be split into two weekends, with the Single Elimination bracket taking place from Jul 7 to 9, and the Double Elimination bracket from Jul 14 to 16.

Matches in the first week will be conducted in a best-of-3 format. Before the start of the tournament, a draw show will be held to determine teams’ brackets. On each of the first two days, eight teams will compete for the top four slots to the next round. The third day will then see the best eight teams from both days battle it out for the four slots to the next week.

Matches in the second week will be held in a best-of-5 format. Each of the top four teams from the previous week will first compete against one other team. The winners of the two matches will then face off against each other in the Upper Bracket, while the losers will compete in the Lower Bracket for the last chance to reach the Grand Final. The Grand Final will be held on Jul 16, when Free Fire fans can witness the birth of the FF CS Cup champion!
