Genshin Impact 2.1 new Confirmed Characters and Official Banners Release

Despite the fact that Genshin Impact Version 2.0 has just recently been published, developer miHoYo has already announced the new playable characters who will most likely be included in the future update. Although Genshin Impact 2.1 is still nearly six weeks away, fans of the game are always eager to discover which characters will be playable next.

The Inazuma area eventually opening up brought a lot of new material to the free-to-play RPG's 2.0 update. Ayaka, whose Banner is now online, as well as future friends like Yoimiya and Sayu, are among the new playable characters in Genshin Impact 2.0.

MiHoYo shared new artwork and profiles for Raiden Shogun, Kujou Sara, and Sangonomiya Kokomi on Twitter, revealing that the three characters would be distributed through the Genshin Impact Version 2.1 gacha banners.

This is part of miHoYo's new and admirable approach of revealing characters officially before they leak. The Raiden Shogun, Kujou Sara, and Sangonomiya Kokomi will all be available in 2.1 now that all three characters have appeared on Twitter.

The latest information comes from the official Genshin Impact Twitter account, which has revealed fresh pictures and details for three forthcoming characters. Before being formally unveiled in the 2.0 trailer, Kokomi has been a part of leaks for months. During miHoYo's Version 2.0 broadcast, another leaked character, Sara, made an appearance. Raiden Shogun, sometimes known as Baal, was the subject of much anticipation prior to the release of 2.0, and it appears that she will be available in the 2.1 update as well

Raiden Shogun, Kokomi, & Sara Explained

The most recent revelations come from the official Genshin Impact Twitter account, which has released new images and descriptions for three upcoming characters. Kokomi had been a part of leaks for months before being publicly revealed in the 2.0 trailer. Sara, another leaked character, made a debut during miHoYo's Version 2.0 broadcast. Raiden Shogun, sometimes known as Baal, was a hotly anticipated addition to the 2.0 update, and it looks that she will be included in the 2.1 version as well.

While miHoYo provided some background information on these characters, it is largely similar to what fans have learned through legend, the official manga, and the most recent 2.0 material. Regardless, it's encouraging to see that these three characters have been allegedly confirmed for the upcoming release. While miHoYo stopped short of declaring - or outright confirming - release dates for Genshin Impact 2.1, it's extremely probable that this will be the case, especially given how the studio handled 2.0 characters like Ayaka, Yoimiya, and Sayu.

To participate in the beta, participants must first join the official Discord server. It's free to join, and it's where miHoYo shares a lot of its material, so fans who don't want to be a part of the 2.1 beta might want to join anyway. This approach was also utilized during the last Genshin Impact beta test, so many gamers will be familiar with it.

As most of the attention has been on getting the Inazuma material out in Genshin Impact, there hasn't been much information about 2.1 thus yet. Anyone interested in participating in the 2.1 beta test has until July 8, 2021, at 12 p.m. GM+8, to do so before miHoYo shuts applications.
