Virtual Hangouts offers four different kinds of online events catering to the Gen Z youth, and one of the most exciting is esports. Dubbed as Go ESPORTS, this type of hangout lets aspiring Filipino gamers join tournaments and apprenticeship workshops that will get them one step closer to representing the country in the Southeast Asian region, at the Super Gamerfest (SGF) 2020.

The SuperGamerFest (SGF) is a first-of-its-kind live streamed online festival happening on December 5-6 and 11-13, 2020 created by, with and for gamers in Southeast Asia, combining esports, awards, and fun. Launched via online event last October 18, the SGF will feature activities for gamers from all over the region, such as gaming tournaments, watch parties, interviews with top esports personalities, workshops and behind the scenes training, and the region’s first gaming and esports awards!

One of the highlights and most anticipated events of SGF is the PVP Esports 2020 Community Championships hosted by Singapore. Four (4) winning teams from the Ulti Cup, University Alliance Cup, and National Campus Open will represent the Philippines against representatives from all over Southeast Asia in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and Valorant. With a total prize pool of USD 100,000 in cash and prizes and the honor of representing the country in the international stage, a lot is surely at stake in this tournament.
