After the successful launch of Win Max 2, GPD is gearing up for the launch of its upcoming handheld console, Win 4, powered by AMD Ryzen 7 6800U. Currently, this processor is the only APU planned for this device. Like its predecessor, the Win 3, this upcoming console will also have a physical keyboard hidden underneath its 6-inch screen.
This upcoming GPD device will feature a bigger screen, keyboard, faster APU, USB Type-C port, fingerprint scanner and trackpad nub.
Win 4 is powered by 8 Zen3+ cores and powerful RDNA2 graphics with 12 Compute Units. Compared to Win 3, this device will have removable analog sticks with hall sensors, which will allow users to swap them based on their preferred height. The product will also be more ergonomic. Also, Win 4 will only feature a fully physical keyboard.
As of the moment, GPD has yet to announce the release date for Win 4. Stay tuned!
