Here’s all you need to know about Overwatch 2 Season One Battle Pass

Season 1 of Overwatch 2 has already started, and instead of the usual loot boxes just like its predecessor, it was swapped with a new seasonal Battle Pass that arrived yesterday. Each season will be introduced with a new themed Battle Pass that will feature 80 tiers of unlockable cosmetic items, such as new Mythic skins and heroes.

The Season 1 Battle Pass of Overwatch 2 features a cyberpunk theme. It consists of 80 tiers of items that players can unlock. The battle pass is available in two versions: the free version and the premium version. Note that if a season features a new hero, that hero will be available to unlock through the free battle pass, just like Kiriko for this season.

The Season One Battle Pass free version includes 20 tiers of unlockable items out of the 80 tiers. The following is what you will get in the free version:
  • New hero Kiriko (for new players)
  • 2 Epic Skins
  • 2 Souvenirs
  • 1 Weapon Charm
  • 1 Highlight Intro 14 additional items (emotes, victory poses, sprays, etc.)
  • 8 Prestige Tier Titles (available after completing the Battle Pass)

But in the Season One Battle Pass premium version, it includes the full 80 tiers, which features the first ever Mythic skin as its final reward with the five new Legendary skins and one Epic skin. Aside from the free rewards, the following is what you will get if you upgrade to the premium version:
  • 20% XP Battle Pass Boost
  • 1 Mythic Skin (Cyber Demon Genji)
  • 5 Legendary Skins
  • 1 Epic Skin
  • 6 Poses
  • 6 Name Cards
  • 4 Weapon Charms
  • 3 Play of the Game Intros
  • 3 Emotes
  • 3 Souvenirs
  • 30+ additional cosmetic rewards
If you purchase the premium version, you will also be granted instant access to Kiriko, if you don’t have the patience to wait for her to be unlocked at Tier 55. The premium battle pass costs 1000 Overwatch Coins, the game’s new premium currency, or around $10 USD. In Philippine peso, that will be 586.20.

If you have completed the full 80 tiers of the premium Battle Pass, you can continue to level up through the Prestige tiers, which will also give rewards. The Prestige tier rewards include eight hero titles that can be equipped on your player name card. Note that this can only be earned during the season that it is available on.
