Inspired by the popular VTuber group Hololive and developed by KayAnimate, “HoloCure – Save the Fans!” is a fan game that has been officially released for PC via Steam since August 16. Through the game, players will be able to experience a top-down roguelike action as they have the chance to control the Hololive talent pool. The game can be downloaded for free and it supports both English and Japanese.
Currently, there are over 20 characters including Inugami Korone, Gawr Gura, and Roboco. Navigate your chosen character in a world filled with enemies and defeat those that approach you. Increase your chance of survival by gathering powerful weapons and items. As the game is also inspired by games such as Vampire Survivors and Magic Survival, HoloCure – Save the Fans! was previously available for free on itch.io before being released on Steam.
The illustrations in the game were made by animator Kay Yu, who has stated that the updates for the game will continue until all the Hololive members are complete and as the game is a fan creation, its Steam release was made in consultation with Cover Corp and it was made sure that it adheres to the derivative works guidelines.
