How to Maximize League Of Legends Performance

OPTIMIZING LEAGUE OF LEGENDS STEP 1: [IMPORTANT!] CHECK YOUR RESOLUTION

• At Desktop Window, right-click the screen
• Then hit "Screen Resolution"
• Find and opt the following: Display, Resolution and Orientation
• At Resolution, click the 'drop-down' menu until a slider appears featuring 'lowest' to 'highest'
• Opt the 'Highest'
• Hit Apply then Keep Changes (for prompt)
• Once applied, take note of the new resolution (e.g. 1366 x 768)

STEP 2: CONFIGURE LEAGUE OF LEGENDS' GAME.CFG FILE

• Open "My Computer', and Local Disk C: then Program Files or locate Game\Config folder
  • 32 Bit: C:\Program Files\GarenaLoLPH\GameData\Apps\LoLPH\Game\Config
  • 64 Bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\GarenaLoLPH\GameData\Apps\LoLPH\Game\Config
  • Open the current game.cfg file as Notepad, and edit the lines Height and Width depending on the resolution you've applied from Step 1 (e.g. Height = 768 | Width = 1366)
  • Copy these extra lines to increase more fps

OPTIMIZING YOUR PING
STEP 1: DOWNLOAD DNS Benchmark

• DNS Bench.exe
• Run as Administrator, until you're in the DNS Benchmark Window containing the following: Introduction, Name Servers, Tabular Data and Conclusions
• Simply click NAMESERVERS and wait until the loading is finish
• Then, hit "Run Benchmark" and wait until the process is finish
• After the Benchmarking, two (2) addresses will be shown on top
• Do not forget to note these two (2) addresses for it will be copied later on
• Next, open Control Panel and look onto Network and Internet then Network and Sharing Center
• Hit "Change Adapter Settings" at the left-side panel
• Look for the connection you're using, then right-click and hit "Properties"
• At Internet Protocol Version 4, hit "Properties", then at General attach the addresses provided by the DNS Benchmark (see image below)
  
  • [Important!] Do not copy the LOCAL NETWORK NAMESERVER on the benchmark.
• After configuring the Internet Protocol Version 4, apply the changes and restart your computer.
• Connect and play to League of Legends.
