Human Element takes the zombie apocalypse motif and asks a simple question: what is the biggest threat during a zombie outbreak? You may want to answer “the zombies, duh,” but if The Walking Dead has taught us anything, it's that the survivors can be just as unpredictable and dangerous as the living dead.



Robotoki, a new developer led by former Infinity Ward lead Robert Bowling, plans to explore that question in their own way. By highlighting the effects of a zombie outbreak on those trying to survive it, Human Element will try to show us a zombie threat in a way no one else has. It's certainly an interesting path to take, and anything that branches away from the usual “oh no zombie shoot it” themes we're used to is okay by us.
